Now is a great chance for the Red Sox to make a move that will really shake up their roster. Michael Bourn is widely considered the best center-fielder available on the open market, and a player that would make an instant impact on the Red Sox roster.

The problem is that Bourn is asking for an obscene amount of money for his services. Bourn is looking to the recent B.J. Upton deal in which he received a 5-year $55 million contract with Atlanta and expects to be paid more than that.
If the Red Sox are willing to pay Bourn an ungodly amount of money for his skills, then expect Michael Bourn to be on the Red Sox roster this spring.
