BREAKING NEWS: The Boston Red Sox, who are looking to get any amount of talent back on their roster this offseason, are reportedly in serious negotiations with RHP Ryan Dempster.
Dempster was reportedly waiting for Zach Greinke to sign before he started negotiating with clubs, but is considered deeply interested in playing in Boston.

According to our sources the Red Sox are very close to singing Dempster to a three-year deal.
If the Red Sox were to sign Dempster that would leave their bullpen with Jon Lester, Clay Buchholz, Felix Doubront, Franklin Morales, Dempster and John Lackey in the mic for starts in 2013.
This would be a great pickup for the Red Sox, and one that Boston fans should truly be excited about.
