Woll Named Hockey East Co-Defensive Player of the Week

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Junior goaltender Joseph Woll was named the Hockey East Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Monday along with Jeremy Swayman of Maine.

Woll allowed one goal all weekend against rival Boston University in the Battle of Comm Ave, stopping 64 of the 65 shots he faced for a .985 save percentage. The junior made a season-high 38 saves on Friday in a 4-1 win at Agganis Arena, followed by a 26-save shutout on Saturday during the first scoreless tie in the history of the rivalry.
