As has been widely rumored over the past couple days, Will Smith has signed a 3 year entry level contract with the San Jose Sharks and will be leaving Boston College after 1 season with the Eagles. Smith was drafted 4th overall in last year’s NHL Entry Draft.

Smith was one of the top players in college hockey this past season, helping to take BC to the NCAA Championship Game and playing a major role in the Eagles’ Hockey East Tournament victory.
