FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Senior captain Marshall Warren fired a shot low glove side a minute into overtime to lift No. 19 Boston College past Sacred Heart 3-2 on the opening night of the Pioneers' new Martire Family Arena on Saturday.
The Eagles improved to 9-6-4 after winning the first all-time meeting in series history against the Pioneers (11-9-1).
Freshman Andre Gasseau led Boston College with a career-high three-point night, factoring into every score with a goal and two assists. Junior assistant captain Trevor Kuntar collected his seventh goal of the season in the win.
