Warner Scores Two and BC Shuts Out PC

Newton, Mass. – The eighth-ranked Boston College field hockey team got back in the victory column with a 4-0 shutout against Providence at the Newton Campus Field Hockey Complex on Sunday afternoon. It marked the Eagles' (5-1) fifth straight non-conference win.

Freshman scored the first and last goals as BC notched one in the first half and three in the second against the Friars (3-3). The Eagles tallied a season-high 29 shots and the second-most goals in the victory.

Senior recorded her first goal of the season while freshman notched her first career assist on Warner's second goal.
