W. Tennis. Eagles conclude busy Day 2 of Harvard Fall Classic

BOSTON – Junior Lexi Borr advanced to the final of the Red Singles bracket at the Harvard Fall Invitational on Saturday, while two of Boston College’s doubles teams – Borr/Jackie Urbinati and Katya Vasilyev/Emily Safron – advanced to the final in the Doubles A bracket.

In singles action in the Red bracket, Borr claimed a pair of victories to advance to the final. In her first match of the day, she earned a 6-2, 6-2 win over Boston University’s Iryna Kostirko, 6-0, 6-2, to earn a place in Sunday’s final.

Also in the Red bracket, Asiya Dair picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win over Columbia’s Rima Asatrian before falling to Harvard’s Erica Oosterhout in the semifinal, 6-2, 6-2.
