Boston College women's lacrosse players Sarah Mannelly, Mikaela Rix, Covie Stanwick and Caroline Margolis have earned IWLCA All-Northeast Region honors, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced on Tuesday.
Mannelly, Rix and Stanwick gained first team status while Margolis, a senior, earned second team laurels. After earning regional honors, the three players are eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA's National All-American team to be announced on May 18.
Both Rix and Stanwick made the IWLCA National All-America team last season. For the eighth straight year, BC landed players on the All-Region team.
