CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College fencing program saw both the men's and women's teams along with 22 individuals recognized by the United States Fencing Coaches Association (USFCA) on Thursday when the organization released the 2023 NCAA Fencing Academic awards. The USFCA recognizes the individual student-athletes and teams on the basis of their combined Fall and Spring semester GPAs (or Fall and Winter quarter GPAs).
Overall, 22 women's teams and 13 men's teams received All-Academic recognition for their combined in-season team GPA. The BC men's team finished with a GPA of 3.445 while the women's team earned a 3.
