CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – UConn earned a 6-4 Hockey East victory over Boston College on Friday night at Kelley Rink in the rubber match of the three-game regular season series between the schools.
The Huskies improved to 16-11-0 (12-6-0 HEA) while the Eagles dropped to 10-15-4 (5-10-3 HEA).
Junior Liam Izyk posted his first two goals in a Boston College sweater, netting both in the first period, while senior Casey Carreau also scored a pair in the loss. Sophomore Colby Ambrosio assisted on both of Izyk's goals for a multi-point night.
