CHESTNUT HILL, MASS– Boston College hosted the 2023 ACC Fencing Championships this weekend. They were one of four schools represented at the event with the others being Duke, North Carolina and Notre Dame. The Individuals Championship was held throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday was the Team Championship.
The Eagles had two medalists in Men's Individuals, Senior Brian Wang took second place in the Men's Foil and Sophomore Levi Hughes got third place in the Men's Epee. In 15 rounds of bouts Wang went 11-4 while Hughes went 9-6.
In the Women Individuals, some of the highlights included Senior Katarina Hone finishing in fifth place in the Women's Saber and Freshman Greta DeBack finished ninth in the Women's Foil.
