CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's basketball rising sophomore T'Yana Todd helped Team Canada earn a bronze medal in the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2023 held in Madrid, Spain.
Canada defeated France in an entertaining 80-73 overtime triumph, giving Canada just its second-ever World Cup medal.
It's the second straight summer in which Todd earned a medal after capturing silver in last season's FIBA Women's U-18 America Championship Tournament with Team Canada
Todd chipped in with six points on 2-of-3 shooting from the field with two rebounds and a pair of assists against France.
