Three Run Seventh Leads Eagles to 4-3 Victory over NC State

BRIGHTON, Mass. – The Boston College softball team (11-17, 3-4 ACC) scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to take a 4-3 victory from ACC foe NC State (17-15, 0-7 ACC) at the Harrington Athletics Village on Friday.

BC took a 1-0 lead behind two walks to open the third inning. Freshman picked up the RBI on an infield grounder to shortstop to plate freshman .

NC State responded in the fourth inning as Randi Farricker hit a three-run homerun to right to take a 3-1 lead. BC freshman pitcher came on in relief and got out of the inning with a strikeout.
