COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Current Boston College women's hockey player Cayla Barnes along with Alex Carpenter '16, and Megan Keller '19 have been named to the U.S. National Team roster that will compete at the 2021 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Women's World Championships in Halifax and Truro, Nova Scotia.
All three were members the U.S. squad that won a fifth-consecutive gold medal at the most recent edition of the tournament, the 2019 IIHF World Championships in Finland. Carpenter has been a member of all five of those gold-medal winning squads while it was the fourth medal for Keller.
