Three Eagles Named to NWHL Rosters for 2021 Season

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Three former Boston College women's hockey players are set to compete in the 2021 National Women's Hockey League season, which will take place Jan. 23-Feb. 5 in Lake Placid, N.Y.

Allie Thunstrom '10 has re-signed with the Minnesota Whitecaps for a third season in the NWHL. In 2019-20, Thunstrom set the NWHL record for goals in a season with 24 and was named the league's Co-MVP. She finished second in scoring with 36 points with 12 assists to go with her 24 goals. In 2020, the three-time Hockey East All-Star also earned the NWHL Foundation Award which is given for service to the game.
