South Grand Prairie prospect Jalon Williams announced his decision to join Jeff Hafley and the Eagles today. The Texas native is a three-star corner in the class of 2021. A top-50 corner in the class, per 247, Williams is a 5-11, 180 pounds athlete who also runs track. He has excellent 4.36 speed to go with a 38.7” vertical jump.
Another great recruiting job from Coach Aazaar. Williams had several other impressive offers including Mississippi State, Arizona, Boise State, Texas, among others. The only conundrum I foresee is a name debate with redshirt freshman defensive back Jalen Williams, but that’s a future us problem.
