CHESTNUT HILL, MASS – Boston College lost to North Carolina 8-3 on Sunday afternoon to close out the three game series. The Eagles go to 16-13 on the season and 1-5 in the ACC while UNC improves their record to 13-21 overall and 3-6 in the conference.
After the two sides split the double header this past Friday, BC came out swinging today to try for their first series win against the Tar Heels in program history since joining the ACC in 2005. They took a 3-0 in the bottom of the third thanks to a two run shot from Sophomore Hannah Slike.
