CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Amanda Sinkewicz set a new Boston College record in the javelin during the Eagles' first day of competition at the 2019 ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championship, held at Lannigan Field on the campus of the University of Virginia.
Sinkewicz's throw of 46.44m (152'4") on Thursday night placed her seventh overall in competition. The mark also ranked among the top 48 in the east region, putting the junior into the field of the preliminary round of the NCAA Championship.
