CHESTNUT HILL, MASS – Boston College lost to Massachusetts 6-5 on Wednesday evening. They're record goes to 16-14 overall while UMass improves to a 9-17 record on the season.

The Minutewomen took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning on a double from Jules Shields that brought in Giana Wameling in for the score.

It took the BC offense some time to get it going in this one but they finally got on the board with a four run inning in the fourth on hits from Kamryn Warman and Meghan Schouten to bring Abigail Knight and Nicole Giery home.
