PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Boston College rowing team competed in its first regatta of the spring season on Saturday, March 25, at the Murphy Cup in Philadelphia, Pa. In a full day of races, the Eagles saw three boats advance to the grand finals of their respective races.
The Second Varsity Four, led by senior coxswain Erika Charnley, started the morning heats strong by qualifying for the grand final with a time of 7:31.5. In the afternoon final, the crew put together another great performance, shaving four seconds off its qualifying time to earn the bronze medal with a time of 7:27:2.
