Second Period Surge Leads BC Past Providence

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Senior scored two goals while and had a goal and an assist apiece and added two assists in the No. 7/7 Boston College women's hockey team's 5-2 victory over Providence on Saturday at Kelley Rink. Ten players total finished with at least one point for the Eagles in the Hockey East win.

Norcross staked BC to a 1-0 lead 90 seconds into the game. Providence evened it up 25 seconds into the middle frame on Maureen Murphy's first of the day, but Belinskas responded a minute later and the Eagles never relinquished the lead and went on to score four goals in the first 10 minutes of the second period.
