Second Half Comeback Downs Detroit Mercy, 70-66

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Mason Madsen drilled the go-ahead 3-pointer with 15 seconds remaining and Makai Ashton-Langford's two free throws with less than two seconds remaining helped Boston College complete the second half comeback win, 70-66, over Detroit Mercy on Friday afternoon.

The Eagles trailed by as many as eight points in the second half - 60-52 with 10:34 left - but outscored the Titans, 18-6 down the stretch to secure the victory. Trailing by three with under a minute left in regulation, BC scored seven unanswered points to move to 2-0 on the season.
