The Boston College coed sailing team finished third at the Gill College Coed Sailing National Championships on Thursday at Narragansett Bay in Newport, Rhode Island. The Eagles finished with 265 points, while Coast Guard was second with 255 points. Yale won the championship with 186 points.
BC had a strong final day on the water and made a huge push going from ninth place to third.
The Eagles A Division team of junior Raul Rios and sophomore Allison Ferraris placed sixth with 134 points. The team had five first place finishes in the 16 race day.
