Congratulations are in order for Quinn Smith, who has just signed a contract to play with the Idaho Steelheads in the ECHL!
The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars (NHL) and Texas Stars (AHL). Smith joins fellow BC alums Patrick Eaves and John Muse in the organization. Eaves is entering his second season with Dallas, while Muse joined the Texas Stars this summer.
Smith was a favorite of BC fans during his 4 years on the Heights because of his strong work ethic and tough style of play. He spent his last year at BC as an alternate captain, and scored a career high 14 points (an evenly split 7 goals and 7 assists).
