Parker Milner, Former Boston College Goaltender, Retires After Seven Professional Seasons

After seven years in professional hockey, Parker Milner of the Boston College Class of 2013 has announced his retirement.

Milner is most known for his role on the 2011-12 Boston College men’s ice hockey team that overcame struggles early in the season to go on to 19 game winning streak that included a Beanpot championship, the Hockey East Tournament championship and the National Championship. Milner was named to the all-Hockey East tournament team that year.

Following his graduation, Milner spent the next seven years moving back and forth through the minor league hockey system, spending time in both the ECHL and AHL.
