Pair of Eagles Selected on Day Two of 2023 MLB Draft

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Two members of the Boston College Baseball team heard their name called on Day Two of the 2023 MLB Draft on Monday afternoon. Travis Honeyman (Massapequa, N.Y) was the first Eagle drafted, going 90th overall to the St. Louis Cardinals in the third round. Joe Vetrano (Shrub Oak, N.Y.) followed, going in the fifth round, 163rd overall to the Los Angeles Dodgers, where he will join Birdball alum Emmet Sheehan in the organization.
