LA JOLLA, Cali. -- Two doubles teams, Max Motlagh and Juan Jose Bianchi, and Will Kasten and Matt Campbell, each won their first two matches at Pacific Coast Doubles over the weekend to advance to the Round of 32. Motlagh and Bianchi won in straight sets in the Round of 16 to advance to the quarterfinals before finally falling.
The Eagles also competed against UC Davis, falling 4-3 on Sunday afternoon. Max Motlagh and Matt Campbell each took home singles victories, with Campbell winning in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3.
