Box Score CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina broke a 3-3 tie with four runs in the top of the seventh as the Tar Heels defeated Boston College 7-3 in game one of a doubleheader Friday at Anderson Stadium. BC was the home team in game one of the ACC Pod against the Tar Heels.
The Tar Heels completed the doubleheader sweep with an 11-2 win in game two.
UNC struck first with one unearned run in the first inning as Kristina Burkhardt singled to left and Destiny Middleton scored on a throwing error.
