No. 9 Eagles Top Providence, 4-2, for Weekend Sweep

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The No. 9/9 Boston College women's hockey team skated to a 4-2 win over Providence on Saturday afternoon at Schneider Arena. scored two goals, including the game-winner, while , and each picked up two points.

Goals from Newkirk and Agnew had the Eagles up, 2-0, just 2:26 into middle frame but two Providence power-play goals, two minute apart later in the period made it a tie game at the second intermission.

Agnew's second score of the game grabbed the lead back for the Eagles two minutes into the final stanza and then sealed the win on the power-play three minutes after that.
