No. 16 Eagles Play UConn and No. 20 UMass Lowell in Split Road Weekend

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – 16th-ranked Boston College travels to the XL Center in downtown Hartford for a Friday night Hockey East meeting with the UConn Huskies at 7 p.m. The Eagles remain on the road on Saturday for a 6 p.m. game at No. 20 UMass Lowell. Both games will be streamed live for free on Collegesportslive.com. Radio coverage begins 15 minutes prior to faceoff on WEEI 850 AM and BC Eagles.com.

WEEKEND RECAP
Friday: Boston College 4, Merrimack 1
Mike Posma scored his first career goal in the opening two minutes and 14th-ranked Boston College never looked back in a 4-1 Hockey East victory at Lawler Rink
• The Eagles won their seventh straight meeting against the Warriors
Drew Helleson and Brandon Kruse each netted his second goal of the year in the victory
Eric Dop posted his third win as an Eagle with 23 saves and was five minutes from a shutout

Saturday: Merrimack 4, Boston College 3
• Filip Forsmark finished a one-timer in front with four minutes left in the third period and Merrimack posted its first win at Conte Forum since 2017 with a 4-3 victory
Marc McLaughlin scored a pair of goals in the loss for his third multi-goal game of the season
Trevor Kuntar had the other goal for the Eagles, tying the game 3-3 in the second period
• BC out-shot MC 30-26, including a 25-11 advantage over the final two periods

SERIES HISTORY (UCONN)
• Friday night will mark the 19th all-time meeting in the series, which BC leads 13-3-2
• Boston College is 5-2-0 in seven previous trips to the XL Center
