CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The No. 11 Boston College field hockey team continues ACC play, heading to Charlottesville, Virginia to face the No. 14 Virginia Cavaliers on Friday, April 2 at 2 p.m.

BC took on No. 2 Louisville at home and upset the Cardinals, 1-0. Sky Caron scored the game's lone goal on a penalty stroke to lift BC to victory. In goal, freshman Emily Gillespie made her second-career start, stopping four shots in her shutout performance. For her efforts, Gillespie was named ACC Defensive Player of the Week.
