CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – A total of nine former Boston College men's hockey players begin their quest for hockey's ultimate prize as the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs begin tonight across the NHL.
BC has three former players – Casey Fitzgerald, Spencer Knight and Colin White – on the roster of the Florida Panthers, who face the Boston Bruins in Game 1 tonight at TD Garden. Coming off a 31-goal regular season, Matt Boldy and the Minnesota Wild are in Dallas to play the Stars.
Chris Kreider, who scored 36 goals for the New York Rangers during the regular season, will take on Miles Wood and the New Jersey Devils in the first round beginning on Tuesday night.
