New Hampshire Skates Away with 5-2 Win to Sweep Weekend

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – No. 20 Boston College's third period comeback stalled on Saturday night at Kelley Rink as the Eagles dropped a 5-2 decision in Hockey East play to New Hampshire.

The Wildcats swept the home-and-home series and improved to 11-10-1 (5-7-1 HEA), while BC fell below .500 in the league at 5-6-2 and dropped to 10-8-3 overall.

UNH took a 2-0 lead into the first intermission with a pair of goals in the final minutes of the opening frame. Chase Stevenson deflected Will MacKinnon's point shot past glove at 17:58, and Colton Huard snuck a power play one-timer inside the near post from the left circle at 19:46.
