CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's ice hockey senior Megan Keller was named the NCAA Ice Hockey No. 2 Star of the Week on Tuesday following her Hockey East Player of the Week nod on Monday.
Keller set the Hockey East single-season points record for a defender with a three-point outing in the Eagles' 4-2 win at Kelley Rink on Friday. The Farmington Hills, Mich. native tied for the league lead and led all blue liners nationally in points on the weekend. She potted the game-winning goal in BC's win on Friday and added two assists to reach a 13-16-29 scoring line in conference play and break the record.
