National champion Boston College lacrosse honored at Massachusetts State House

The Boston College women’s lacrosse team’s celebration of its national championship continued on Wednesday with the team’s trip to the Massachusetts State House. At the State House, the team was greeted by an outdoor ceremony hosted by Governor Charlie Baker and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito. Polito is a Boston College alum.

During the ceremony, the Governor presented a proclamation to the team honoring them for their 2021 title:

One of the fun things about a team winning a championship is getting to follow their victory tour and see where different celebrations pop up in the wake of the title.
