CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Katherine Mitchell races in today's first round of the 800m on at the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East Preliminary Round in Bloomington, Ind.
The race was originally set to begin at 7:50 p.m., but due to storms in the Bloomington area, the meet schedule has been adjusted and the 800m trials will begin at 3:50 p.m. Mitchell will race in the sixth and final qualifying heat of the 800m. Twenty-four athletes - the top three in each heat, plus the next six fastest - will advance to Saturday's quarterfinal round.
