Mitchell Named to 2020 College Football Hall of Fame Ballot

IRVING, Texas – Former Boston College standout tight end Pete Mitchell is on the ballot for induction into the prestigious College Football Hall of Fame.

The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame announced today the names on the 2020 ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, including Mitchell and 75 other players and five coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision and 101 players and 33 coaches from the divisional ranks.

Mitchell was a two-time first-team All-American, earning consensus honors in 1994. He is one of only 12 Boston College players to earn consensus All-America honors in school history.
