CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College senior Avery McKenzie and sophomore Taylor Soule have been named the Musco Lighting Eagles of the Week for their performances this past week.
McKenzie earned second place in the triple jump at the Beantown Challenge on Saturday at Harvard with a mark of 15.02 meters. The Huntington, N.Y. native's jump made him just the fourth jumper in school history to break 15 meters and the first Eagle to do so in over 20 years.
In the women's basketball team's win at Notre Dame on Thursday, Soule led BC with 19 points and 12 rebounds after going 6-for-9 from the floor and 7-for-10 from the foul line for the double-double.
