Eight BC starters record at least one hit in 5 inning, run rule victory
AMHERST, Mass. – Boston College's offense exploded for eleven runs on thirteen hits in a five inning, 11-0 victory over UMass on Wednesday afternoon. BC improves to 14-11, while the Minutewomen fall to 7-14.
Senior Ellie Mataya got the scoring going for the Eagles in the top of the second inning with a bases-clearing triple. In the third inning, Kennedy Labshere beat out the throw to first to drive in another run.
