BOSTON – Senior assistant captain Jack McBain has been named a CCM Second Team All-American by the American Hockey Commissioner's Association (AHCA).
Despite missing 14 games due to injury and his selection to Team Canada for the Olympic Games, McBain ranked fourth in Hockey East with a career-best 19 goals and led the league in points per game (1.37) with 33 in his 24 contests.
McBain was tied for third in Hockey East in both game-winning goals (4) and power play goals (6). The forward more than tripled his previous career-high in goals (6) and put together a career-high seven-goal goal scoring streak that was snapped in the Hockey East Quarterfinal.
