CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced its 2021 softball all-conference teams. The three all-conference teams, all-freshman team and individual awards were selected by a vote of the league's head coaches.
Boston College had two all-conference selections as junior outfielder Ellie Mataya was named to the All-ACC second team and junior pitcher Susannah Anderson was named to the All-ACC third team.
It marked the first time in both players' careers they earned all-conference accolades.
Mataya finished the season as BC's leading batter. She led the team in batting average (.
