CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Back at home after their second straight win on Tuesday, the Eagles secured their third straight victory over Cornell, taking down Cornell 4-1 on Thursday night.
The Eagles went up 1-0 in doubles, with Plobrung Plipuech and Stephanie Sanchez getting it started with a 6-3 win, and Laura Lopez and Marice Aguiar, who landed at No. 35 in the latest national doubles rankings, battled back to clinch the point with a 7-5 win of their own.
Lopez kept it rolling with a straight set singles victory, and her doubles teammate followed suit with a singles victory of her own to put BC up 3-0.
