CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College center Alec Lindstrom was named to The Sporting News All-America second team on Tuesday. It marks the third All-America team Lindstrom has been named to this postseason.
Boston College has had three players on The Sporting News All-America team over the last four seasons. Tight end Hunter Long was named to the second team last year while kick returner Michael Walker was also a second-team selection in 2018.
Lindstrom is just the second center from Boston College to earn a spot on The Sporting News All-America team.
