AMESBURY, Mass. – Boston College senior Abigail Levy has been named the Hockey East Goaltender of the Week, as announced Monday by the league.
Levy went 2-0-0 on the week for the Eagles, stopping 74 of 77 shots that she faced for a .961 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average.
The Congers, N.Y. native had a 44-save performance in BC's 3-1 win at UConn on Friday night. Levy made at least 12 stops in every period, including 19 in the middle frame, en route to her 13th win of the season.
