CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College lacrosse team enters the 2023 season ranked third in the USA Lacrosse Magazine's Nike/USA Lacrosse Preseason Top 20.
North Carolina was ranked first and Maryland followed at second. Stony Brook and Northwestern rounded out the top five at third and fourth, respectively.
Boston College is coming off a 19-4 campaign while reaching the national title a fifth straight season. The Eagles' 102 wins since 2017 leads the country.
BC will have to replace the likes of the NCAA's all-time leading goal scorer and back-to-back Tewaaraton award winner, Charlotte North, consensus All-AmericanCourtney Taylor and the team's fourth-leading goal scorer in Caitlynn Mossman.
