CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Spencer Knight was named the Male Eagle of the Year on Sunday night during the Golden Eagle Awards. earning the highest honor bestowed upon a Boston College student-athlete. The Eagle of the Year Award is given annually to the male and female student-athletes who are outstanding citizens, leaders, scholars and athletes.
Knight becomes the 13th men's hockey player to receive the honor and second straight after David Cotton won the award last year. Charlotte North from the lacrosse team was the female Eagle of the Year recipient.
