WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Spencer Knight was named the Hockey East Goaltender of the Year on Friday and earned First Team All-Star honors along with classmates Matt Boldy and Drew Helleson. Captain Marc McLaughlin was also selected as a Hockey East Third Team All-Star.
Knight became the first Eagle to win the Goaltender of the Year award since Thatcher Demko in 2014. It also marked Boston College's first year with three First Team All-Stars since that same year when Kevin Hayes, Johnny Gaudreau and Michael Matheson were picked.
