CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Boston College cornerback Elijah Jones (Harlem, N.Y.) has been named the ACC Defensive Back of the Week as announced by the league office and voted on by the media. The honor marks Jones' second of the season as he previously earned is two weeks ago following BC's win over Georgia Tech.
Led by Jones, the Boston College defense held Syracuse to 37 passing yards and forced four interceptions in a road win on Friday night to run its win-streak to five games. Cornerback Elijah Jones led the way with two interceptions, the first of which came in the red zone.
