CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College offensive guard Zion Johnson and center Alec Lindstrom were named to the 2021 Associated Press All-America teams on Monday. Johnson captured AP All-America first team honors while Lindstrom was named to the AP All-America second team.
Johnson is BC's first AP All-America first-teamer since running back Andre Williams in 2013 and the first BC offensive lineman to capture first-team accolades since Josh Beekman in 2006. He has been honored by six different All-America teams this postseason.
It marks the fourth straight year BC has had at least one player earn AP All-America honors.
