Hunter Long Named Associated Press All-American

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College redshirt junior tight end Hunter Long was named to the Associated Press All-America second-team on Monday. Long becomes just the third tight end in Boston College history to be named to the prestigious All-American team.

Long joined Pete Mitchell (1993, 1994) and Mark Chmura (1991) as the only BC tight ends to be named to the AP All-America teams. Mitchell was named to the AP All-America first-team in 1994 and was a second-team All-American in 1993. Chmura garnered AP All-America second-team honors in 1991.

Long has been the top receiving tight end in the nation in 2020.
